Documentaries

Just before leaving for India I got this opportunity to create 2 documentaries for a London based NGO. They wanted a couple of short documentaries to be made on subjects like poverty and Education ad wanted it to be filmed in India.

Since it’s a documentary which involves a lot of research and stuff like that, which is beyond me, I thought  it would be wise to include a friend of mine whose a Post graduate  in Journalism from Bournemouth University(Amna Rahman). So she managed all the Research and interviews setup and I had all the filming, Animation and Editing covered.

 So the purpose of this space is to cover how and what we( amna+me) planned and did to make these short documentaries.

‘DearDad’ has been selected as one of the Top 10 Finalists for The Phillips Collection. It will be screened in Washington,US on Apr 12.

Michael O’Sullivan of the Washington Post listed the screening for Thursday as an event not to be missed! Check it out!
